Melky Still Available Free-agent outfielder Melky Cabrera is one of the big name players still available and according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, he remains the Kansas City Royals top option to fill an open position. If they arent able to land the former Toronto Blue Jays left fielder, Heyman believes they will turn their attention to Nori Aoki or two other former Jays, Alex Rios and Colby Rasmus. Chicago had impressive victories in sweeping the two Southern California teams this week, but struggled offensively without leading scorer Patrick Kane, who left to attend his grandfathers funeral.
